This trip is easily to combine with a 3-4 days jungle tour in Chitwan National Park! In that case you will drive from Pokhara after the trekking to Chitwan and from there after the jungle stay to Kathmandu.
In the well known Annapurna area there are still pristine jewels available, like Mohare Hill, a hill of a considerable 3300 meters. It is a light trekking partly on unpaved trails, passing through dense woods and then along steep hill edges. A journey that leads to the only (Tibetan ) community lodge which Mohare has to offer. Here you will be warmly welcomed and you can enjoy breathtaking views all round where you feel you really can touch the Himalayas. This trek is complemented by an extensive sightseeing of Kathmandu, its temples and monuments, and Pokhara, the most picturesque city of Nepal. We documented this trip in a video:

Arrival at the Tribhuvan International airport in Nepal. You will be welcomed by our teammember and transported to your hotel in Thamel where in the evening we invite you to our traditional Nepali welcome dinner with live music and local dishes and drinks.
Early rise for a breakfast in the hotel after which it’s time to visit Pashupatinath, the most venerated Hindu temple of Nepal and Boudanath, the biggest Buddhist stupa of the world. It really impresses all foreign tourists. In the afternoon we visit Durbar Square in the center of Kathmandu with its impressive monuments.
Early we will be on the route where will see more of the amazing countryside of Nepal that offers greeneries, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful mountain sceneries. In the afternoon, we reach Pokhara, the second largest city. The city is famous for its magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, the five peaks of Annapurna. It is the starting point for all the adventurous trekkings. You will be have time to visit the enchanting lake Fewa and dine in one of the hundreds of local and international restaurants. Optional: an 3 hours exiting rafting tour in the Trisuli river that splits the long drive, just bring an extra towel and either extra clothes or swimming suit. No experience needed
Today we start our beautiful trekking with a visit to the Galeshwor Temple that stands on a single rock and is dedicated to the Hindu God, Lord Shiva. We then walk to Banskharka following the classic Annapurna trail. Bansakharka is a picturesque village inhabited by the Magar community of Nepal. The village is surrounded by beautiful rhododendron forests and with elegant water streams flowing through it. The village has lived for hundreds of years on the production of mandarins, oranges and honey, which you might learn about and taste in your visit. We stay in a community managed lodge and enjoy the local food.
We embark upon a half-day trek to Dandakateri today and enjoy the beautiful Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges which are both among the tallest Himalayan Mountains. Along with enjoying the incredible mountain vistas we also interact with the locals of the area.
Today we have two route choices today. We could either follow a trail that passes through the Banmare village or we walk in the dense high altitude pine and rhododendron forests. If we follow the first route we will be surrounded by beautiful hill landscape with bench terraces greeting us in every bend. However, if we follow the second trail, we might get lucky and spot some wild deer and varieties of birds and butterflies all along the way. Either way, we will reach Nagi village late in the afternoon where we will spent the night.
We enjoy the breath taking mountain scenery while walking up the slopes in stone paved trail that leads to our beautiful and breathtaking destination: Mohare Danda or Hill, located 3.330 meters in altitude. We spend the night at a community-managed Tibetan lodge that is beautiful situated and offers 360° sightseeing on the Himalaya's.
Mahare Danda stands above deep gorges and valleys on the verge of a steep ridge and offers pristine views of the Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre. Today, we have to say goodbye to this place but not with take a astonishing beautiful down-hill walk above the clouds from Mahare Danda to Nangi
Today on our last trekking day we leave for Pokhara via Mallaj Lekhphant in Parbat District. We enjoy picturesque hilly landscape along the way and sit for lunch at Ratamata. Upon arrival in Pokhara we will transfer you to your hotel for a relaxing hot shower:)
Today we can explore Pokhara. It offers many attractions, like Devi Falls and underwater caves but also a big stupa overseeing the Pokhara valley. Or just relax at one of the many cafe's along the lake side or enjoy the endless shops along the main street.
After breakfast, we say goodbye to the beautiful northern skyline of Pokhara and drive or if you like fly towards Kathmandu.
On this last day we will not withhold you from taking a last cultural tour through Kathmandu and for instance visit Brimsen tower or Durbar Square with ancient temples. But Thamel of course is waiting for you to buy and take some souvenirs back home.
Depending on the flight time, we timely transfer you to the airport. Check out time is 12 PM, but the luggage can be out in storage so you still van enjoy Kathmandu.
